We’ve appointed the former Head of Mackie’s at Taypack, Tim Gardiner, as our new Finance Director as part of a wider re-structuring programme driven by an impressive growth period in 2012.

Tim will work with former Finance Director, Shelagh Briggs, who remains with the Company as Financial Controller and Company Director. Tim will be pivotal in accelerating the development of essential new Financial processes and procedures required following the overall growth of the business in recent years.

Tim is the former Group Finance Director at Taylors Food Group before moving from Finance Director into the Managing Director role at Mackie’s at Taypack. He was also Finance Director at Hibernian Football Club from 2003 to 2009.

Jim Panton hopes that Tim’s abundance of expertise will help to further secure and strengthen the business as one of the UK’s leading drinking water solutions company.

“Tim brings much more than a traditional FD view of things. His time as an MD previously adds valuable strategic experience across the spectrum for our business.”

Previous to his time with Hibs, Tim spent 14 years in various Finance positions within the Real Estate development and investment sector. He is a Coopers and Lybrand trained chartered accountant with a degree in Economics from St Andrews University.
