PM Chemical Technology
Since our inception in 1994, we have pioneered innovative solutions for water storage tank cleaning, beginning with the groudbreaking PM Chemical - a specialized solution that not only tackles bio-fouling, particularly Iron and Manganese, but also proves highly effective in cleaning and removing various contaminants, including hydrocarbons, from treated water storage tanks.

Transforming Water Storage Tank Cleaning

We've safeguarded thousands of assets without the harm of high-pressure washing. Our secret? A laboratory tested biocidal product that delivers a superior clean, eliminating light hydrocarbons and neutralizing cryptosporidium – setting a new standard for water asset maintenance.

    Standards possessed by PM100

PM100 stands out for its exceptional quality and efficacy, backed by two essential certifications:
    BS EN 1276
PM100 products possess bactericidal activity as tested after 5 min at 20°C against Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella enteritidis, Campylobacter jejuni, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterococcus hirae as well as bactericidal activity as tested after 5 min at 20°C against Legionella pneumophila.
*BS EN 1276 certification means that a cleaning product is antibacterial. It is a European standard used in the hospitality industry and food preparation environments that standardises the effectiveness of chemical disinfectants. All BS EN 1276 chemicals have been tested to ensure they are killing 99.999% of bacteria within 5 minutes.
    BS EN 14476

PM100 products possess bactericidal activity as tested after 5 min at 20°C against Poliovirus type 1 and Murine norovirus (Picornaviruses). PM100 products concentrations possess bactericidal activity as tested after 5 min at 20°C against Adenovirus type 5 (Picornavirus).
Efficacy of PM100 products at making Cryptosporidium oocysts unviable after 10min (PM88) and 4 hours (PM55) contact time.

*Products with BS EN 14476 standard demonstrate that they are able to kill a number of viruses including norovirus, poliovirus, adenovirus and influenza, due to its antiviral ingredients. It is the most common virucidal test and is required in the medical, industrial, and domestic markets.

Is the PM Chemical Reg 31 Approved?
