We have secured a contract with Dwr Cymru (Welsh Water). The contract is for three years but has the option to be extended by a further two years.

Iain Weir, Chief Operating Officer at Panton McLeod, commented: ‘We are delighted to further expand our business and service provision coverage across the UK with Dwr Cymru’.

To support the project, we have sourced a base in Monmouth, south east Wales with the development expecting to bring a number of employment opportunities to the area as well as improving the emergency response time in the southern half of the UK.

We have been involved with Welsh Water prior to the contract, providing a range of underwater inspection and cleaning work at service reservoirs in Rogerstone Grange, Pengarnddu, Whitbourne, Blaenavon, Tynywaun and Builth Wells.

Iain also elaborated on our previous work with Dwr Cymru, he said: ‘We’ve completed a number of projects for Dwr Cymru including the use of our innovative underwater robots to clean and inspect the water storage facilities. We’ll continue to offer our robotic services but this specific contract is for the cleaning and disinfection and repairs of reservoirs.

We have experienced rapid growth and expansion throughout the UK, recently opening a new engineering headquarters in Galashiels and Iain Weir also said: ‘Securing a three-year contract is a strong step forward in aiding the company’s expansion and growth throughout the UK. We will ensure that we strive for the best results and continue to implement the highest-possible standards when carrying out our specialist work for Dwr Cymru.’.
