We have succeeded in winning a critical refurbishment framework agreement with South West Water’s capital delivery partners H5O. We already hold 5 similar frameworks and are delighted to add such a high profile client to their existing workload.

With other existing framework clients including Scottish Water, Anglian Water, Welsh Water, Severn Trent and United Utilities, we now work on a regular basis from Land’s End to John O’Groats and from Anglesey to Lowestoft. In addition to our work at the extremities of the mainland, we also support the Scottish Islands such as the Orkneys, Shetland and Hebrides.

Paul Henderson said: “For 20 years Panton McLeod have been supporting the UK Water Industry and this framework award is the next step forward in strengthening our UK coverage. We hope to bring a number of new services to the market in 2014 and as framework partners, we fully intend to share these developments with key clients such as South West Water.”

“For the next two years, we will be supporting H5O to deliver refurbishment projects to key storage assets such as service reservoirs. Keeping these up to standard is critical for maintaining the highest quality water throughout Cornwall, Devon and also into Dorset and Somerset.”

Projects are expected to commence within the next 3 months and will include a variety of disciplines. This refurbishment contract is in addition to existing arrangements where Panton McLeod supports South West Water with the inspection and cleaning of critical water storage tanks using underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) or robots.
