In our last news post of the year, we would like to say a huge congratulations and a massive thank you to our longest standing employee.

Shelagh Briggs celebrates 20 years service today (Christmas Eve), it’s fair to say if it wasn’t for the incredible effort and never say die attitude of Shelagh then Panton McLeod would not be here today.

So today we would like to share this post and give Shelagh a little bit of the limelight she deserves, but definitely does not covet.

Most of our customers and suppliers know Shelagh very well but many may have never met her in person.

So again, Shelagh won’t thank me for posting the photo but we would love to tell you about a little presentation at our recent Christmas party.

The photo shows our founder Jim Panton (Snr) making a presenting of a silver salver, some champagne and some flutes from which to enjoy it.

We hope Shelagh and her husband Hugh will enjoy having a little drink over the holidays and we look forward to celebrating Shelagh’s 21st year of service this time next year.
