We’ve appointed influential businessman John Anderson as our new non-executive after a period of impressive growth in 2012 which saw turnover increase by 73% to £3m with a proportional increase in net profit.

John will be pivotal in accelerating the ambitious growth strategy by exerting his experiences of specialising in emerging and high growth companies as recognised by his role as Chief Executive of The Entrepreneurial Exchange, Scotland’s leading organisation for growth oriented entrepreneurs.

Jim Panton, CEO at Panton McLeod hopes that Mr Anderson’s abundance of expertise will help to further secure and strengthen its reputation as being one of the UK’s leading drinking water solutions company.

Jim said: “Panton McLeod has seen very positive growth in the year to December 2012 and our goals for 2013 are equally ambitious. We are delighted to welcome John who will be a driving force in helping our growth strategy move forward due to his vast skills and expertise in business planning, strategy and financial governance.

As Chief Executive of The Entrepreneurial Exchange, John has exposure to and influences 400 members of the organisation by encouraging, inspiring and supporting entrepreneurs to build businesses of scale.

John will now focus on helping us take advantage of the significant opportunities that it faces, which also now includes an emerging subsidiary Company serving the US water industry, utilising his own experience in every way possible.

John is also a visiting Professor at the Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship at the University of Strathclyde, Chairman of Gabriel Investments angel syndicate, Chairman of AWS Ocean Energy Limited, a founding GlobalScot member and a Member of the Prince’s Trust Scotland Council.
